Staff was professional and available, check-in was smooth with very clear and complete instructions (and still the option to have an in-person check-in if we wanted).
Location is nice, just by the sea, and it makes for a great view from the comfortable terrace. And still an easy walk to the Old Town.
There is a small supermarket just next door, which is also quite convenient since this is an apartment-stay.
The biggest issue for me was all the lights going on and off on the ceiling over the bed (probably some alarm systems or so?) + light from the common area quite visible inside the room. It challenged my sleep on some of the nights.
It was not clear to us from the website that the balcony/terrace was shared, but it was totally fine as we did not even meet our neighbours.

Fantastic position - spacious and well equipped, so close to the old town (but remarkably quiet) and very close to the marina (especially important if you are heading out on a sailing holiday)
Only down side is the lack of much natural light and the one window looks out into an enclosed car park - not exactly the “courtyard view” I was expecting.

The stay was excellent, Casa Costabella is in a prime location, about ten minutes walk from the ferry port / bus station and only five minutes from the town centre. There is a convenient supermarket next door and the rooms in the property are very clean and outfitted to a very high standard. The cleaner was in every day and was very thorough. There is a also a communal kitchen which contained some very welcome 'emergency supplies' such as a coffee pod machine and milk, peanut butter etc. The propery was lovely and I would recommend it.
The communal hallway outside the property could have been cleaner.

Cleaning staff were amazing. They accommodated everything we needed in a timely manner. The room was very clean and had a great view of the harbor. We enjoyed just looking out the window and watching the action on the water. Ice is free, they have coffee and tea out for donation and sandwich fixings in the refrigerator just in case. Again the housekeeping is awesome, the sea view is awesome, they have a ceiling fan and a great air conditioning. The room was very clean. There is a small fridge in the room and a teapot with cups that the housekeeping takes care of cleaning for you. There is also amazing hot water in the shower.
The photos are very misleading. We thought we were getting a larger room with a sitting area and accommodations for cooking. When we got there we had purchased food to cook and because of the photos of the stove top in the shared kitchen we thought we would be able to cook and were told that we were not able to cook. When we asked to switch rooms to the room that had the kitchen the management would not let us do it. We even said we would pay the difference. The laundry is advertised to be available but it is not free and there is no dryer. They do give you a rack to dry your clothes on. The room size is also very misleading. There is no microwave available for gas, and there is only a small fridge in the kitchen to keep your food in no real kitchen and the kitchen is shared with other rooms. If you are going to bring a car be sure that you let them know in advance as this was a little tricky to navigate. The plastic covers on the beds are very uncomfortable. We ended take up taking ours off. There are also so many motion lights all over the room that come on through the night even when you move in bed they just go on. There is no streaming on the TV, or casting from your phone.
