This is an amazing property with everything you possible need for a holiday, the host Dennis is just the nicest most helpful person you could hope to rent a property from! Although he stays in the adjacent property with his Wife, you only see Dennis if you want advice on anything. A simple WhatsApp message and he is happy to pop through to see you and explain where to visit or where to eat. Nothing is an issue to Dennis.The house is ideal for couples and families and we also had our dog with us. Dennis was happy for our dog to roam the gardens which are massive and more importantly safe for your dog. The house is only an easy 7min drive into Sarlat. There are Canoes for hire a 5 minutes drive down into Vitrac and you are ideally located to visit Rocamadour and all the other attractions in the area. If we have a criticism it is that the photos don’t do this place justice, we had high expectations and on arrival this property exceeded them! Oh and the hot tub is lovely.We could happily have spent two weeks here instead of the week we did. If we ever visit the Dordogne Lot area again this is where we will stay. We will be recommending Dennis’s house to our family and friends. Richard, Liz and Runa.

Denis was a great host and spoke good English which was very helpful. He was discreet but also available if needed, he and his wife even gave us two comfortable sun chairs when they noticed we were using their outside wooden table chairs to sit on in the warm October sun! The property is lovely and modern and comfortable, the hot tub was a lovely addition which we used everyday after exploring the Dordogne/Lot region. The garden was peaceful and quiet and a very relaxing place to stay. Thank you Denis for letting us stay at your property, hopefully we will return.

The property is contained in a gated totally secure plot. Although Denis resided in an adjacent house, it cannot be seen and is private. The gite is very well equipped with new/modern appliances. The air con if very good, in both bedrooms and the lounge. Outside there is seating, under a large umbrella with loungers and a hot tub (didnt get in the tub). Total peace. Nearby Sarlat has a large LeClerk supermarket a 10 min drive away. There are many local attractions and if you want to travel further afield. 30/60 mins Rockamadour, Geouffre de Padriac, Cahors Bergerac amongst others. There are a number of "Prehistoric" sites and Chateau's within easy reach as well a many restaurants. Denis has a good command of English and is very helpful, but discreet , he made some reservations for us at local restaurants. Would defiantly revisit

A beautiful property in a glorious setting. It was immaculately clean and had all you need to self cater but was also close to most of the main sites to visit in this part of the Dordogne.
Denis is a wonderful host who was helpful from the moment we arrived and also provided excellent communication for access. Thank you for having us at your lovely home, Ian and Dawn.
