About this cabin rental
Situated in Qualla, this lovely cabin for $169 per night is a great option for your next trip. Horseshoe Bend is a BRAND new 2 bedroom 2 bath home. Great views and privacy. This is a great place for 2 couples or a family. Each bedroom has a KING bed and a private bathroom. Both bedrooms have large SMART tvs and a DVD player. Bring your Netflix passwords! Each bathroom has a large shower with sliding glass doors. All sheets, blankets and linens provided. Main living area is open and airy with all the touches you would expect from a mountain cabin. Fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, ice maker and dishwasher. Large bar area for dining with comfy barstools. All utensils, plates, glasses, cookware, Keurig coffee maker (2 K cups provided) toaster and iced tea maker supplied. Electric fireplace (remote controlled) does provide heat but should not be used as your only heat source. For ambiance mostly. Full size washer and dryer. (starter laundry items supplied) Oversized covered front porch is a great place to relax and enjoy the view. 4 rocking chairs and a picnic table with gas propane grill. On a clear night you can see hundreds of stars. Firewood is not provided, please purchase locally at any nearby gas station. Outdoor firepit with seating for 4. Turn on the twinkle lights to really enjoy the outdoor setting. Marshmallow sticks provided. Cabin themed decor throughout. This is a private area with no immediate neighbors. Come get away from it all. We do have 4 other properties around the corner if you have a larger group. Before you pack up and head to the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it! Dillsboro NC elevation starts at 1,975 feet. Think of this as your starting point. If you want to get a beautiful mountain view, you gotta climb some mountains. Mountain roads are typically gravel, steeper, narrower and curvier than you may be use to driving. This is all part of our charm. We do have one big hill to get up. It is gravel. We regularly drive a Hyundai Sonata up. While AWD vehicles make everything easier they are not required. Maintain an even speed (10mph) going up and you should have no issues. *******No refunds will be given due to weather.***** Items NOT provided: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, items of a personal nature. We do supply hand soap, dish soap, and starter laundry items. Please note this is a SMOKE FREE property. Ashtray is provided outside on the porch. If the home smells of smoke, you may lose all or part of your damage deposit for additional cleaning and odor removal. This is a PET FRIENDLY property, however we ask that you bring a kennel for your pet if you plan to leave him/her alone at the house. We do charge a $45.00 non refundable fee for bringing your pet. If you are bringing your pet YOU MUST select the pet option. In comparing this property to all the others we've stayed in this one by all means is the best. The location was magnificent. Sitting high up on the mountain we sat out on the rockers until nightfall watching the clouds form around the far mountain. The setup in this cabin was perfect for our two couples as they are identical king bedrooms with the most comfortable beds possible. Chuck and Sandy knew how to make your vacation trouble free as there is everything you needed right in place. When it was time to come indoors we just lit the fireplace and kicked back. When we travel to this area again will make sure to stay here.

From the booking of the property to the end of our visit everything was great! The cabin was absolutely perfect and they had supplied anything you could think of. The view was beautiful and very peaceful. When we walked in we will pleasantly surprised by the decor and all the Christmas decorations. I will day that it was perfect size for 2 couples but would be tight with anymore people. We visited Sylva, Bryson City, Fillsbiri and Cherokee and very short drive to each area. We will definitely stay here again. The only negative thing was the gravel road coming in because it would have been better with truck or SUV because steep in places and narrow but only negative thing I could say. Love, Love, Love it and will stay here again when we come back to ride Polar Express!!!!

This is the 2nd property of Chuck and Sandy's we've stayed in. If we could give 6 stars we would. Horshoe Bend offers privacy and peacefulness coupled with convenience. All the comforts of home with a rustic country cabin vibe and close to all the shopping and activities we come to western NC for. But the very best part for us was sitting on the huge covered porch morning and evening looking at the view! We never get tired of it. It was a delightful respite from the heat at our home in SC and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute!

The property was exactly what I was looking for. It was close by to Harrah’s, which was where we primarily spent our time for an event there. A perfect distance away from everything. It was quiet at night too! However, the hosts also provide plenty of games/amenities to entertain yourself for the weekend at the cabin. Overall an amazing stay from my parents, partner, and myself.
The gravel road is no joke, but my little Ford Fiesta made it up okay.

We loved this cabin! It is located close to Cherokee, Bryson City, and GSMNP. We really liked that each room had a full bathroom with an awesome shower. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the living area was nice and cozy! It has a terrific view and a steep road to the cabin, but we had no problems getting there. We were there to do a little hiking and fly fishing, and coming back to Horseshoe Bend Cabin was a great way to end our day. We also brought our dog, as it is a dog-welcoming cabin. We hope to be back soon!

Property was very clean and very well appointed….with gas grill to include grilling utensils, fire pit with marshmallow roasting sticks, etc. The kitchen was also very well equipped. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the best cabins we've stayed at in the area!! Host is nice and responsive. The cabin looks just like the pictures. Clean! View is great! Perfect for 3/4 adults. Would absolutely stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful experience. The house has everything you need. Great cabin! We enjoyed the fire pit and sitting on the porch enjoying the view. It was away from it all but convenient to attractions lin Cherokee, Bryson City, and Sylva. We will be back for sure!

This property was perfect for our stay. We had 4 afults, including my husband and I and his brother and wife. The cabin was spotless! Thankful we could bring our doggies on the trip. Friends stayed at the casino and we stayed in this wonderful cabin. Quick 10 minute trip back and forth to the casino. Would hands down stay here again.

We came up for the weekend for my husbands 40th birthday and had such a wonderful time. The host even left balloons out for his birthday when we arrived which was a nice surprise. The cabin was very clean and organized and the fire pit was great for a chilly evening.
It’s close enough to dillsboro for shopping and food (best bbq I’ve ever had there) and close to the casino if you’re looking to give away some money like we did.
We will defiantly be back for another weekend trip!

We go up to this area twice a year. This property is by far the best we have stayed at. Has Dish Network Smart TVs everything u need it's there. Beautiful view. Wish there was a dresser or shelf to put clothes away in but no big deal. Thank you for amazing stay and probably be back if it's available. 😀

Cabin was full of bugs, lights out in the kitchen making cooking impossible, ice maker is still not working, and no gas for gas grill. But it is a new cabin with lots of maintenance issues!

We loved the cabin and location. Very secluded and has a great view. The cabin is new and has everything you need. Location is close to all sight seeing adventures and several restaurants to choose from in the neighboring towns. This was our second time staying at one of Charles’s properties and we can’t not wait to come back. Highly recommend and you can’t go wrong with any of his cabins.

We had a great time, 3 of us ladies for a girls getaway. The cabin was decorated for Christmas, the only thing we didn't have was ice. We had to get a bag of ice from town.
We enjoyed the big nice showers as well.
