Convenient for the ferry port, good breakfast but unfortunately the hotel is in need of refurbishing

This hotel is very convenient for the ferry port which is the main reason why I booked it. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, there was plenty of variety of food available all freshly laid out and the restaurant was clean and tidy. Wonderful view from our room.

The hotel and the rooms are tired and in need of refurbishment. Our room was very dreary and tired looking.

the only thing that I liked was the location of the hotel

the room had no natural light the card for the door needed changed every day there were bugs on the hallway they had no parking space, I had to give the car key at the reception and some guy moved my car al over the street the breakfast was very poor

Satisfactory stay

The location of the hotel is excellent. Breakfast was satisfactory. You could eat on the terrace with a view of the sea across the street. There was a man taking care of the cars (Mr. Mehmed), who was doing it professionally.

We have to ask several times to get the toilet paper. At the end it was difficult to get the invoice for the two days. The receptionist was very nervous to give us the invoice for the second day.

A nice hotel in a great location in the centrum.

A great location- stunning views of the harbour with an amazing cruise ship parked up.

No lift or ramp up to the front door. One of my party had just broken her leg so steps were difficult. Also for getting the 23kg suitcases up the stairs. However the kind guy on reception helped us when I went in to reception to ask about the possibility of a ramp.

As I stayed there to take the ferry the next morning, it was just a few steps away from the cruise/ferry terminal.

On my arrival, the guys behind the reception asked me to wait five minutes even that there was no other guest at that moment. There was no welcoming atmosphere and just the technical process of checking in. On lift was out of order, the pool was closed and the hallways were very dark. Not to mention the spacious room, as there was only bedside lamps that couldn't illuminate the room that was without balcony and to the backside. The room in total felt like a dark cave. Needed to leave 7am for the ferry, breakfast was from 8am - no offer to get a little breakfast to go etc...

Location, it was at the center of the city

Food was at least a day old No pool but it was advertised The room was filthy, there wasn't any cleaning at all. The room had a strange old smell, it was filthy.

Staff shortage

Location very good hotel not as good as it could be

Never any staff there the front desk did not sprang good English one guy did but he was not there much the was rarely staff at reception they where always in the back and you had to shout to get them

If available do not hesitate to book asap - value for price

In the beginning we were thinking according to the price and the average review score whether the hotel is appropriate or not for our weekly vacations. It not only satisfied us it also overcomed out hopes. ++++ Room is very clean with a balcony and great view to the castle island and the port/city +++++ breakfast is lovely +++++ location +++++ value for price +++++++++ Everybody working there, from the people in the reception to the cleaning ladies and the breakfast staff were so professional and at the same time so approachable and helpful. Tesekurler! Thank you!
