Lovely setting in nice gardens, nice outside area, very comfortable beds, easy to get around town, reasonably equipped, lovely staff
Very close to a night club, so a bit noisy til 4am, obvs not the villa's fault, but might be ok out of season, dunno when it shuts

The location is incredibly central for Chora, with everything within easy walking distance and a lovely bakery just around the corner. The studio was clean and tidy, with good Wi-Fi, excellent air conditioning and a beautiful garden/outside area. The room was also cleaned every day during my three-night stay, which was more than I expected and very much appreciated.
The biggest downside for me was the noise at night. There are several late-night venues immediately behind the accommodation and the music was extremely loud from when I returned around 10pm until approximately 4–5am, seeming to get even louder around 2–3am. Even with earplugs I could hear it clearly. This isn't the hotel's fault, but it is something I think guests — particularly light sleepers — should know before booking.
The stairs up to the bedroom are also very steep and narrow, and as I was travelling alone I didn't feel I could safely carry my suitcase upstairs, so I left it in the kitchen. The shower is in the bedroom behind stiff saloon-style doors with quite a narrow opening, and the toilet is right next to the head of the bed..... something to bear in mind if you're staying with a relatively new partner, as there's not a great deal of privacy! The bed wasn't particularly comfortable, although it was perfectly adequate for a short stay.
