Beautiful house in superb surroundings- wooden floors tastefully decorated - large rooms ,excellent en-suite shower- very friendly family owners ( offered free laundry services)

Only that twin beds were not available on our visit only double

Very cozy stay for Verdun Memorial Visit

I stayed here for my visit of Verdun Memorial. The small villa is a bit outside the city center, 5min by foot, which I very much liked as the city center was a fairly touristic so the Maison Mirabeau provides a great calm atmosphere right next to it. The owner is very nice, it is a real French house not a standard hotel but rooms are excellent with very modern bathroom and privacy as in a normal hotel. Couldn't have wished for more during my stay.

Very pleasant hotel, B&B style close to the centre of Verdun.

A small hotel run in more of a B&B style situated within five minutes walk of the river and cafe scene. The hotel has private parking off the road. The breakfast is continental style with many jams and preserves produced locally. Our room was clean, compfortable and of good size with a separate bathroom with an excellent shower. The host is very accommodating. There are losts of book, maps and leaflets about tVerdun and its WWi history to plan your excursions.

Very little. The hotel offers good value for money and is close to the centre of Verdun.

A lovely guest house, perfectly presented with the best hosts you could wish for

La Maison Mirabeau was absolutely the best place that we stayed all week, and now pretty much the only place in Verdun that I would consider for a future visit. The house is lovely and set back from the main road (which makes it tricky to find the first time). We were met by the owner who was immediately friendly and welcoming and provided a nice spot to park our motorbikes, out of the sun. There are only three rooms. The entrance at the front leads to a well presented lobby, with the breakfast room and a sitting room to the right. Stairs lead up to the three guest rooms. The rooms are really nice. Lovely comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom. All well presented and perfectly clean. It was a hot day and a cold bottle of water was waiting in the room. The whole decor of the place is what I can only describe as "quirky", and I absolutely loved it. Breakfast was delicious. On the second evening we were treated with a cold bottle of beer while sat outside before we went into town for dinner. The real key to the success of this place is the guests, who were just amazing for our two night stay. I certainly hope to return one day.

It was pretty much impossible to not flood the bathroom when showering due to the the three sided design of the shower. Lots of towels needed to soak up the water.

A lot of nice details in the chamber and the breakfast room. Housemade yoghurt snd juice at breakfast. Very good, personal and quiet place in Verdun, only 5 minutes from the centre.

lovely and atmospheric stay

beautiful House, lovely host and superb breakfast. walking distance to town enter, passing authentic areas of Verdun - we passed a garage with antiques and old stuff. The room was nicely furnished and decorated . Such a cool spot for a short trip like ours . thank you.

we liked it all - despite it wasn’t exactly in the middle of the old town.

An excellent choice - great facilities, location, customer service and value for money.

A great stay and very good value for money. We were travelling with a pet and were warmly welcomed. Lovely accommodation and a great location within walking distance to the town centre and local parks. The host was very gracious and she served a delicious breakfast from local seasonal produce. Highly recommended.

Perfect for a stay in Verdun

The hotel wasn’t quite in the town centre so was really peaceful. Our room and bathroom were very large, quirky and comfortable. The interior decor is amazing. Our host was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was really delicious, varied and plentiful. Car parking was so easy as was the short walk into Verdun. Highly recommended 😊

A welcming B&B!

The hostess was most pleasant and the breakfast, enjoyable. The room was spacious with a high tech bathroom. The owner recommended a restaurant around the corner "Mamie" which was delicious!

There should be signage near the road. There were many steps up to the room.

Biker friendly with secure parking. Immaculate in its presentation. Super friendly host who speaks English very well.

Needs a bigger sign! We rode past a couple of times before we realised exactly where it was.

Very nice accomodation close to the center

Breakfast was really nice and everything there you need. Special about it was that all guests shared a table and so we had very interesting conversations during breakfast.

An ideal place!

Beautiful old villa set back from the road in a quiet situation, but only a short walk to the centre of town. It is artistically decorated in a modern style, very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Parking on site. Breakfast very good. Hostess was friendly and charming. A very enjoyable stopover for us!

Great location that will meet all your needs on a one or two day trip.

Breakfast was fine. Nothing fancy but quite healthy. The room is very close to town and all the restaurants. Very nice hostess. Very soft bathroom towels! Good wi-fi. Excellent parking. Beautiful home and grounds. I wish I could have stayed another night.

We would stay here again!

The property was very nice, very clean. we loved the large yard with tables set up. The room was comfortable and immaculate. The hostess was very welcoming and kind. The only tip I would like to see is a fan for the warmer days, but I don’t see that as a negative!

Great Villa with fantastic host

It is a large villa, with big rooms, nicely decorated, and really comfortable. The host cares a lot, and one feels like at home. We were really late for check-in but they waited for us almost till 22:00, and we were received with a warm welcome.
