Nestled in Oscoda Township, this attractive cottage for $172 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Lakeside Splash is our closest cottage to the lake, in Oscoda, MI. Well suited for families, couples, singles, or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Relax on the beach, take a dip in the lake, or simply sit by the fire, we have whatever you're looking for. Four miles south is the town of Oscoda known as Paddletown, USA thanks to the beautiful AuSable River which lets out into Lake Huron just before downtown. Also in Oscoda are awesome areas to hike and fish. Travel down River Road scenic by-way named Michigan's most scenic drive by Big Seven Travel, which cuts through the Huron National Forest, with many stopping points such as Lumberman's Monument and gorgeous Iargo Springs. The cottage includes; 2 bedrooms with queen-size mattresses, one pull-out couch, and a kitchen stocked with dishes, silverware, and other cookware. Beds are furnished with linens and bath towels are supplied as well. Hand and dish soap is provided. Outside in our storage shed, you will find kayaks and life jackets, paddleboards, and other fun outdoor games. A full list of amenities and local attractions may be found in the check-in binder provided. We look forward to sharing our hideaway, with you!

Cute cottage and fantastic beach! There is a three ring binder in the Cottage with everything you might need to know while you stay, it was very helpful. We went to the breakfast place recommended and as stated, it was amazing! Get the pancakes, you will be shocked!
Do be aware, there is no oven. We brought food to prepare, but with out an oven had to change the dinner plans. It worked out fine though, we improvised!
It was absolutely incredible to sleep with the bedroom window open, the sound of the waves lulled me to sleep each night. And in the morning, wow, the sunrise!!

This is our second visit to Lovango, and it was great as usual! Very clean, nice updated decor, and you can't beat how close it is to the beach! The kitchen has almost everything you need, but no seasonings and stuff just fyi to byo. The beds are so comfy, and the softest sheets ever. Last time we stayed in another cabin and complained about the furniture being uncomfortable and the host updated it! We love a host that listens to feedback :) We will continue to stay at this property in Oscoda, just love it!

Great sandy beach as well! The owners communicate quickly, if you need anything or have questions. See you next summer!

My husband, 5 year old daughter and I had the most amazing couple of days! We really enjoyed our stay…the beach was incredible. We had an amazing view from our place and felt so secluded the entire time. The place wasn’t the best place I’ve ever stayed (not a lot of space in the bathroom) but it worked very well for us and you honestly can’t beat the location. We had a fire every night and loved all of the beach chairs, sand toys, kayaks and paddle boards that were supplied! Would’ve loved a bath mat for the shower- only suggestion. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect Beach Vacation
This is the second time we have stayed here. We have had a wonderful time both trips. The cabin is close to anything you need. The beach is great for all ages. We enjoyed the improvements made since last summer ~ window air conditioner, ceiling fans in the bedrooms and the fantastic picnic table and chairs. I would highly recommend staying here.

Nice hideaway
We had a great stay, cottage was clean, smelled nice and no bugs inside! The beds and furniture were adequate, comfortable for a cottage. We had everything we needed and quiet neighbors while there so we had a nice, beautiful peaceful visit.

Great beach!
We always stay on the this beach over the 4th of July and just love it. There were a few small issues, but the owner took care of them immediately. We had a great time.

Beautiful cabin on the beach!
This was a cute little cabin on the beach & so close to the lake. It was cute & cozy. There was a situation with a leaky pipe & the hosts of this property were on it immediately. They had an emergency plumber out on a Sunday within an hour of my call. We will definitely stay here again. Very nice

This place had everything we needed. Perfect view, bonfires, kayaking. Would be perfect if you wanted to rent all the cabins for a friend/family weekend.

It was great no one else there. Only 1 fire pit you need at least 2. I would not like sharing a fire with strangers. Probably won't go again

Lakeside Splash Cottage at Lovango Resort
Cottage was clean, well equipped; water view was great! Bedrooms could have used a chest of drawers; we had to live out of our suitcases. Also a TV with at least basic stations would have been nice. Bathroom was the absolute tiniest I have ever seen; floor seemed “spongy”. Rotted wood? Ceiling fan in back bedroom sounded like it had bad bearings, kept us awake.

Relaxing getaway
Bryan and Haley have a nice property. We spent 5 nights. It’s was clean and comfortable. Having Lake Huron steps away made it a relaxing vacation. You can watch the sunrise from the kitchen table. We would stay here again.

This place is right on Lake Huron and there's nothing like having your front yard be a beach. The sunrises are fabulous. Relaxing vacation station
This lovely cabin right on the beach was a perfect place to relax, and a perfect base for exploring the area's wondering hiking trails, canoeing on the Au Sable, etc. The hosts were quick to respond when we had a small problem (which got resolved). We enjoyed using the kayaks that are provided, along with grill equipment for the fire pit. A great stay!
