We were looking for a quiet place near water and pet friendly. Camp David is conveniently located near Cooke Pond where put in our kayak and enjoyed some fishing. Anyone who likes having time away from all technology, this is your place. If you’re not able to be totally disconnected to Wi-Fi and cell service, this may not be a place for you. The house offers numerous activities for entertainment. The kitchen has all the essentials needed for cooking basic food. Our only criticism would be the bed needs updating in the front bedroom.

We stayed at Camp David, it was neat, clean and plenty of room for the four of us and the dog. I'm a city girl so not having service or wifi was a little hard but we played games (ping pong, cornhole) and watched DVD's so it was all good. We spent most of our time at Tawas beach (about 30mis away). Things I'll bring the next time: DVD's, bug spray for us and the outside lol and games we like to play. I highly suggest Mikey's Pizza in Hale. So good! We absolutely enjoyed our stay, the owner was responsive and kind. Definitely recommend!

The experience was satisfactory. Great place for quiet, uncluttered, more secluded getaway. My electronic driven family was a little out of sorts at first with no wi-fi access but we were happy to include family pet.
