This house was a home away from home! Very clean, wonderfully decorated and full of amenities! Our weekend could not have been more perfect! The host was prompt in answering questions and very accommodating. We are definitely going back to this house!!! Thank you for a perfect weekend!!! :)

We spent 4 days in this beautiful home. Everything about our stay was perfect. The house was one of cleanest rentals I’ve ever stayed in. We enjoyed kayaking around the lake and our kids especially enjoyed the pedal boat. We played cornhole in the backyard and then sat around bonfire and made s’mores with the complimentary s’mores package left on the table for us! We stayed up for hours stargazing and took some amazing photos of the Milky Way! This home was very special to us because it was my childhood home. Mark went above and beyond to make sure our trip was a memorable one. Words can’t describe just how wonderful our stay was. Thank you for sharing your home with our family and for all you’ve done to make it so special. We can’t wait to come back and make more memories!!

We stayed here with another couple and it was perfect! The home afforded enough space so that everyone could get comfortable and have privacy and space. The cleanliness was top notch, even though it’s extremely hard to keep sand out of the home, even when you take off shoes outside. We loved the fire pit area and the kayaks. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Thank you!

Beautiful house with all the amenities we needed. Comfortable beds, clean, open floor plan. Great location too. We did day trips to Tawas and Alpena as well as enjoying time in Oscoda. Our group really enjoyed the convenience of having our own kayaks right there to enjoy on Cedar Lake. Communication with owner was great as well. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time at this Oscoda beach house. The house was clean and filled with all the amenities that a family could need. We used the peddle boat and the kayaks. Our family of 6 adults and a grandchild had a very relaxing weekend here. We loved that all the bedrooms had queens in them since it's rare to find a home with proper bedding for the adult members of our family. We had no issue with removing shoes before entering the home -- it keeps the sand out. We even picked up 2 tubs (one for each door) so that we could rinse our feet before coming in! I loved the outdoor sitting area, just watching the water activities. There was plenty of space to set up a soccer area for my grandson too. We are already anticipating a return trip next year!

The house and property are fantastic! Comfortable with all the amenities you could want to relax or be active. All the outdoor equipment and HUGE yard was perfect for entertaining my boys. We fished, rented a boat, saw family and explored the area where our dad grew up. Absolutely perfect! Definitely going to make it an annual trip.

We had a fabulous stay!!!!!!!! The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, and everything was just as described on their listing. We had plenty of room for 3 kiddos to run and play in the water. The kayaks and paddle board were lots of fun and there was a lifejacket for everyone. The kids enjoyed hunting for pretty rocks on the shore and sitting watching boats at the end of the dock. As noted in the listing the bottom of the lake is mucky startimg a few feet out but that didnt stop us from enjoying it as it was nice and warm. If you want less muck lake huron beach access is only a few minutes away. This was the perfect weekend get away with extended family and we would all highly reccomend staying here

Location to Lakewood Shores is ideal. 4 bedroom house makes it great to house 4 guys. Lake looked awesome but we had bad weather. No issues with check in/out. Mark answered the few questions I had quickly. Just a great stay.

Beautiful home on Cedar Lake. Very comfortable furniture and extremely well equipped. We don’t wear our outside shoes in our own home, so the request to wear slippers/slides indoors was not unreasonable and keeps this house super clean. Two full size refrigerators, outdoor toys and plenty of indoor games. Beds very comfortable and plenty of storage and hangers in closet. Mark was very attentive to the one minor issue we had and was quickly resolved. Great place to stay,

Our daughter got married and we needed a house close to the venue with enough room and a good kitchen for preparing food. We were not disappointed. The house and kitchen were perfect. Mattresses were amazing, we all slept like babies! And the view!! Wished we were at the house more to enjoy it and the outside. Communication with the hosts was great and quick.

Everything was wonderful at the Cedar Lake Chalet. We enjoyed being able to use all the water toys, the sandy beach was a hit with the littles and the open concept of the home allowed our group to have some space. I do recommend water shoes as the bottom of the lake is mushy and the shoes are helpful to be able to walk in the water. Mark and Katy were easy to communicate with and have some very friendly neighbors which made our stay lovely.

Wonderful property for a summer get-away with out family. The house was incredibly clean and comfortable, providing all the necessary essentials and amenities. The kids loved the sandy beach and shallow/calm water - perfect for the young ones (ages 3-5). I will be very likely to book a return trip to this property in the future.

A perfect weekend getaway!

This property is 5 star all the way! It was cleaner than any property I’ve been in and they had everything we needed to have full blown dinners and lunches. The property itself is beautiful and you just cannot beat the views out of the back French doors. They had fun games for everyone and even my teenagers had a wonderful time. I highly recommend staying at this property. Communication with Mark was excellent and we were put out ease from the moment we walk through the doors.

The property itself was very nice. It was clean besides the toilets. Had all the amenities needed for our stay. Only warning, do not rent from Sunnybuns if you use this location. It is not directly related to the home, but was recommended by the owner. Our rental boat was broken and we were stranded on the lake with children and now Sunnybuns is refusing our calls for a refund. Besides that, the stay was great and comfortable.

The house was beautiful and so was the lake. It was also close to Lake Huron beach swimming. It was a nice quiet get away for the family to enjoy time together. There were plenty of items in the house to keep us occupied and for outside games also. We enjoyed the s'mores at the bonfire by the lake one night. Mark and Katy are perfect hosts.

We had 7 family members at the cottage and all enjoyed the relaxing week. Dinners at Desi's, The Red Fork and Wiltzes. Boat rental at Sunny Buns and fresh Donuts from Scott's Cedar Lake Grocery. Its was a wonderful week.

We had the best week at this house! It was large enough for a handful of adults and a couple of toddlers. The yard and beach area were great and safe for kids to run and play. We spent a lot of time fishing off the dock and the kids caught so many little fish! The house had everything we needed. We just brought some food and had fun. Mark was great and responsive with communication. We will be back!
