Excellent location.
No chance to try the breakfast.
It is recommended the 4 beds room has enough space for a small table and chairs, which is convenient for ladies to use.

Staff cleans the kitchen everyday nicely. Good location. Very spacious kitchen. Nice bed. Helpful staff.
Rate is steep. But we're not spoiled for choice in Canberra so I guess the market dictates. Now that I just checked in to one in Sydney, can't help but compare. LD is a whole lot better. But yeah pricey.

The location was excellent. Walking distance to everything I needed! Staff were really friendly, room was clean and very warm. The rooftop cooking night was so much fun!
Private room didn’t come with a private ensuite or bathroom which wasn’t clear in the booking / photos. Sometimes the showers didn’t have hot water.

Easy check in. Room was clean. Comfy bed. Excellent location, very central.
Couldn't control temperature of the room, it is centrally controlled. It was too warm so we did message reception to turn the heat down, which they said they had but it didn't make much difference.
Other guests making noise outside our room - the layout of the rooms is not ideal, they have seating areas in the same areas as the rooms come off with not even a door in between to help block the sound.
Kitchen was not very well equipped at all. We are used to staying in YHAs which provide loads of plates, pans, cutlery etc but here we struggled to even find a fork, there must have only been about 10 of them for the whole kitchen. Lots of items left in drying racks, doesn't seem to be much communication/enforcement of people actually drying stuff and putting it away. We only cooked the first night and then decided to eat out rest of our stay due to these issues.
Considering what we paid during the low season, I don't think we got value for money.
