The location is the property's main strength. It is directly opposite the Duće promenade and sandy beach, with a convenient underpass providing safe access across the busy road. There is also a bus stop nearby, making it easy to reach Omiš without a car.
The property offers on-site parking, which is very convenient, and we were pleasantly surprised to be allocated a second-floor apartment with a large terrace and sea view instead of the ground-floor unit we had originally expected. Although the terrace can become very hot during the day due to the lack of shading, it is a lovely spot for breakfast or an evening drink. The apartment itself was simple and basic but appeared to have been renovated relatively recently and was generally in decent condition.
The owner is an elderly gentleman who can sometimes come across as rather direct and in a hurry, but he was easy to reach via WhatsApp both for check-in arrangements and for any questions during our stay.
Housekeeping could be improved. The floors did not appear to be properly vacuumed or washed between guests and seemed to receive only a quick sweep.
There were also a few maintenance issues that should have been addressed before arrival. The shower holder was broken, making it difficult to take a comfortable shower or wash long hair. The bathroom mirror light was not working, resulting in very poor lighting, and one of the lamps in the living area was also broken.
The kitchenette is extremely small and equipped with only the essentials, so guests should not expect to prepare elaborate meals.
