Nice breakfast room, tasty breakfast.

Very strong smell of cleaning detergent in room. Broken blinds It wasn’t made clear that the room was next to a building site.

Construction made hotel difficult to access. German beds and blankets are way too small. Parking was tight.

It was clean and the receptionist was nice.

Coming for work it was really surprising that the wifi didn’t work for me. Upon asking why the answer was that sometimes for Apple users it doesn’t work (only for Androids). Upon calling Apple and trying various stuff it was obvious that this is a problem on a hotel’s site.

Only one door key as they had lost the other! Cobwebs above kitchen unit. Only minimal equip in kitchen eg only 1 wine glass. Banging noise each time the towel heater came on in bathroom. Needed to switch it off to stop the noise. Floors were not clean-marked and stained. WiFi didn't work - kept losing signal

The hotel is very central and close to the beach, the staff was also friendly as far as we can say and the free parking was also nice.

The rooms are quite used already and could definitely need a renovation, especially the shower and in general the bathroom. When we arrived our room was also not really clean, there was dust in all th corners and it just didn't gave us a good feeling. We wouldn't pay this price again to stay there in the future although the location was great itself.

The room and bathroom were clean and modern.

Heldts offer a variety of different apartments / rooms at different locations in different buildings. We received a rather small 1 room apartment located near the main hotel building between two frequently used roads with heavy traffic in the morning hours. Sleeping with an open window can lead to being woken up at 5:30 a.m by the traffic. There is no air condition. The rooms with the front consisting of mainly a glass facade do not allow for much privacy. They are aligned in such a way, that neighbours walk by them on a regular basis. This means we more or less had to keep the curtains drawn upon entering the room in order not to feel as an attraction in a zoo.

Traveling during post-Covid Era is a tough proposition, so I had assumed cleanliness would be a higher priority for the hotel. It was not. On the 2nd day of our stay, our hotel room wasn't even cleaned. Upon inquiry, we were told it can happen and someone brought towels after calling a number. No apologies were made. Other days during the visit, it was clear that the staff were doing a bare minimum job of cleaning up the floors and the room. Secondly, we were told on our arrival, that there is a construction going on nearby which would be loud, but be done by the evening. The construction continued through all the days of our stay, which was not only loud, but created a thick layer of dust on all the cars in the parking. I had cleaned up the car on the 2nd day, and it was money down the drain overnight. I shudder to imagine the dust we were breathing in during the trip. Thirdly, I had asked for a room in the annexy part of the hotel. My wish was granted, but Little did I know it basically meant staying and sleeping next to all the parked cars. Fourth, the blinds in the rooms were barely sufficient and not enough to make the room dark enough for a baby. So, we were living on a parking lot, next to a construction site. we couldn't open the windows due to the noise and dust, which made the room unpleasantly hot. All in all, not a pleasant experience and would not stay here again.
