About this bed and breakfast
(Inbox me for additional guest or long term stays!) The “Cottage" is a private one bedroom, one bathroom guest house with a full kitchen that overlooks the backyard pool. Equipped with high speed internet for streaming or if working during your stay is a must! The house is situated on 40 acres outside the city limits of Abilene, Texas near Potosi. When you arrive, you may see horses grazing in the pastures or be met by two friendly Collie’s (think Lassie dogs) &/or Major the barn cat! We hope that our guests enjoy the peaceful country all while being minutes from entertainment, restaurants, airport & hospitals. The Cottage is perfect for college parents, vacationers, couples or anyone just needing to relax, restore & rejuvenate!
-Its highly recommended that you bring water shoes for the pool! The pool decking gets hot and the pool plaster can be hard on soft skin, especially the kiddos! There will be an additional fee for guests not included on the initial reservation that come to swim. This also must be cleared by management before their arrival.
-Please note that this house is in the country. We do get wasps, bees & ants around the pool especially during the peak of summer. Coyotes also bark & howl at night. Please understand that hosts cannot be expected to control pests or nuisances such as these. Thank you for understanding.

The cottage was perfect for my visit to Abilene. It’s small and quaint. It’s quiet and a great place to escape. Will definitely stay again on my future trips.
