A warm welcome awaits you at Gumtree Cottage, a modern fully self-contained property nestled amongst the countless gumtrees on this 18 acre rural site.
Located only 10 mins from Hermitage road, the gateway to the wineries and renowned restaurants, the property is ideally suited to couples, young families & friends alike wishing to explore all that this stunning region has to offer.
Guests are invited to relax in the private hot tub, stroll down to the dam, where you can enjoy a fire pit, with wood & firelighters provided with our compliments. Blankets and cushions are also provided for your added comfort.
Sunset and sunrise can be enjoyed either from the hot tub which is at the rear of the property which is fenced or from the seating area and if you are lucky you can watch the local kangaroos grazing at both dawn and dusk.
At the time of booking, guests can request up to 2 well behaved, house trained dogs. Please refer to the policy relating to dogs prior to booking and provide details of the dogs you will be bringing in your booking request.

We absolutely loved our stay. The property was peaceful, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The spa was amazing and such a great place to unwind while taking in the beautiful surroundings.One of our favourite things was sitting around the fire pit, enjoying the fresh air and quiet countryside. It was also incredible waking up each morning to see kangaroos and wallabies, along with so many beautiful birds around the property.We were also grateful that the property was pet friendly, which meant our dog could enjoy the holiday with us too. Communication was excellent and the whole experience was seamless. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing Hunter Valley escape.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Adrian responded to every question promptly and with care. The house was exactly as described and had everything we could need for the weekend. The spa was awesome and the upkeep of the property in general was amazing - so gorgeous. This is definitely our new go to spot for a quiet weekend getaway. Thanks for having us!!
