It was a lovely welcoming plave to rest on our journey.
Would have been nice to have someone available to speak to but we were there at weird times.

The inn was lovely, the bedroom and common rooms were cosy, clean and exactly what you want from a country cottage.
The breakfast in the morning was lovely, as was the person who worked there.
We were asked a million times what time we would arrive, even though we had shred this information on the first time of asking. We got phone calls while we were driving on the motorway, asking for us to call them back ASAP. We had to stop in a service station to call back, but all they wanted to know was our arrival time.

The property was very easy to find, staff were very friendly and helpful. My partner and myself enjoyed playing a few games in the evening in the large room with settees, books, blankets and games. Bedrooms were nicely decorated and bed very comfortable.
Bedroom floor was very uneven and we kept tripping over but was something to laugh at, the bathroom had a few spots of mould on the ceiling and there were a few spiders and baby spiders in the bathroom (mainly in the bath) the breakfast could have been a little better considering the price- the eggs were undercooked, the sausages were very slim and the bacon had more fat than meat. There was a little pot of beans and as my partner said it was more of a snack than a breakfast.
