Pros: Beautiful view, super clean, friendly staff, lovely onsen, free laundry use, daily cleaning of room and restock of coffee & bottled water, lemon water in lobby, outdoor showers from the beach. MUST rent a car if coming here. Everything is too far to walk.
Tattoos not allowed in the outdoor pool was strange (front desk has tattoo covers) overnight hotel guests have to pay just to get pool seats, restaurants onsite were expensive.

Good facilities. Nice setup especially catering to surfing enthusiasts. Free parking.
Its located outside of the city, you have to drive to get there and back. No food deliveries. If visiting during rain season, it is isolated. Hawaiian decor is not for everyone.

We only stayed one night here as it was a transit hotel for us, but we had a great time!
+ The hotel has a really cozy vibe and although it's probably on the older side, I wouldn't necessarily say it's dated.
+ The staff spoke very good English and they were really helpful and polite. Check in was quick and easy.
+ The room was pretty spacious and clean. We had all the amenities that we could need. The balcony is a really nice plus, as it had a sea view and you're literally right on the beach. Drinking something at night while listening to the waves is very relaxing.
+ The beds were soft and comfortable.
+ The breakfast was also very good and sufficiently varied
We didn't get a chance to explore all the facilities that the hotel had but it looked like a great place to spend a few days. Highly recommend it!
