The rooms were amazing—spacious, spotlessly clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.
The location is also a big advantage, especially if you’re visiting the area’s main attractions. It’s conveniently located for exploring the Horses’ Waterfall (Cascada Cailor) and the Mocănița in Vișeu de Sus, making it a great base for sightseeing in the Maramureș region. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Popasu’ lui Vodă to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the area.
The food wasn’t the best and could have benefited from a bit more variety on the menu. Parking can also be difficult, as the restaurant attracts visitors from outside the hotel. If you leave the hotel for sightseeing, there’s a possibility that you may return to find no parking space available within the hotel’s parking area.

Excellent location; good onsite restaurant and nearby a lot of the main things in Borsa.
Woukd be nice to have a kettle in the room.

We really enjoyed staying here. The staff was helpful. They didn't know English :( but they were nice and tried to help us with everything. The facilities were clean. Very good spa. Nice restaurant. Breakfast was good. Would go back :)
