Cosy apartment in good location

Cosy, modern apartment direct at the harbour of Pigadia with a wonderful sea view from the balcony. Good location in the middle of restaurants, bars and clubs. The apartment is located in close vicinity to a supermarket, the pharmacy and restaurants. Functional kitchen with big fridge. Approximately 20 min walk to the beach.

Due to the vicinity to restaurants, bars and clubs it was very loud at night (at some days until the morning) so that we needed ear plugs. Unfortunately, the bath and also pillows were not clean when we arrived. In the fridge we found leftovers from the previous guests. You can‘t use the balcony in the morning as there is no shade nor umbrella. From time to time the smell of the canalisation in the bath is very strong. The beach is a bit away if you don’t have a car.

It was great!

This is beautiful spatial apartment. The apartment is in great shape and well stocked. The highlight is large terrace overlooking the port bay. There is daily cleaning of the apartment. The apartment is on pedestrian area so to park car you can use nearby streets or port parking lot a few minutes away (you’ll need car to go to beaches).

One of the days there were minor repairs in the terrace so it wasn’t available for a few hours during the day.

Great stay in a spacious room.

Nice spacious room with a great balcony overseeing the port. Nothing was missing, all amenities good. Bathroom was nice, clean and with great water pressure not common for Greek islands. In the middle of the action, restaurants and coffee bars sort walking distance.

We really could not find any negative things about this room. Maybe 2nd floor no elevator if this can be considered a minus for some people. I assume during high season there might be some noise from the port bars and restaurants.

Exceptional

Beautiful view and lovely apartment! Very nice contact and everything was very clean. Couldn’t ask for more and we really enjoyed our stay! Especially the location is just great for breakfast, dinner, shopping and exploring the island. There is noise from the restaurant below and the streets but this is acceptable (even with baby) because you’re in the heart of the town.

Sink in the shower didn’t work quite well.

Best place to stay in Pigadia

best location within Pigadia, beautifully kept, spacious, simple check in and they were able to accommodated our early arrival, great terrace.

the shower drain wasn’t working properly (water went all over floor), might need to be fixed. otherwise everything perfect.

Amazing, relaxing stay.

Maria was the perfect host! She was available to help via phone. The apartment was in a perfect location with amazingggg views. It had resturants and bars near the apartment, as well as food shops and tourist shopping. There were amazing beaches that were a short taxi away (perfect for snorkelling) & a pebble beach an 18 min walk away. The house was very clean and perfect space. It was so nice to eat food on the terrace. We will be coming back!

Awesome apartment with the best view in Karpathos!

The location was awesome, the view spectacular. There was juice and water in the refrigerator and honey and crackers left for us. That was very considerate. Asked for a second key and it got taken care of. Maria was very quick to respond.

The cleaning lady didn't show up the last 2 nights, so I wrote Maria and she informed me that she was testing for Covid. I completely understand, but it would have been nice to be informed beforehand and maybe organised someone else.

The "Boutique feeling" fades away...

First, it is a very nice apartment with a fantastic terrace and a wonderful view over the harbor. Unfortunately, the terrace is far too hot and sunny before 10 AM to be used for breakfast without a parasol, when the fixed sunscreen begins to do it’s work. The apartment is nicely located in the city center close to shops, restaurants and the best part of the beach in Pigadia etc.

But, it is obvious that it is not easy to run an accommodation on Karpathos when you are not located on the island ... The "Boutique feeling" gradually disappears when it is not even possible to arrange an umbrella for the terrace. The promised cleaning does not take place in 10 days... With no explanation. In addition, bed linen and towels are not changed as promised... With no explanation. There is nowhere to get rid of garbage that grows into mountains when cleaning-lady does not show up as promised… With no explanation. The Internet is poor. It is just a small repeater connected to the main router in the apartment above which is completely insufficient for an “boutique-apartment” of 114 sqm. Resulting in slow speed (down 3-5 Mbit/s, up 0,3 Mbit/s), weak signal strength, disconnection and almost impossible to use on the terrace. We were promised that it would be fixed and we had a time scheduled with a technician but no one showed up... With no explanation. And don’t forget to bring your mobile phone or flashlight when you go out at night, because the stairwell is dark and lacks lighting.
