Cozy and convenient

We attended a wedding in Geelong and Castlebar was perfect for our family of two couples and one son. We loved the tasteful décor. Raelene has really done an outstanding job in restoring the cottage. Kitchen, laundry, bathrooms ... everything was outstanding. So easy to walk to Woolies or grab fish and chips or a pizza.

Temporary construction across the street (April 2023) was a bit annoying ... noisy in the morning and a bit hard to get in and out the drive if trucks were parked. But it's just a temporary issue.

Amazingly beautiful property. The whole family enjoyed them selves and it felt like home.

Beautiful self contained property for a family. Easy access to city centre and cafes and restaurants. Raelene was extremely helpfull.

Would have loved a soap caddy in the bathroom next to the laundry.

Beautiful and comfortable home. Much more spacious than expected.

Beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Quiet street with cafes and stores nearby. Would happily stay again and recommend.

Best location in a beautifully presented, spacious well equipped home, we will be back!

Such a cute place, beautifully decorated, fantastic to have 3 full bathrooms and 2 lounge areas. Locality is amazing, just off Pakington st but far enough to not hear any noise. Dishwasher is always awesome not to mention the gorgeous robes and surprise goodies provided. From chocolate to chips to champagne! Thank you we will be back!

I wish we could have stayed longer.

“Castlebar” is a beautiful heritage style home which has been renovated to suit modern times. There are three living areas which is great for family stays and all the rooms are spacious and beautifully styled. The location was a major decider when we booked and it didn’t disappoint - close to boutique shops, Woolworths and many restaurants - every thing you need close by.

We loved our stay, it was comfortable, clean and cosy

We loved the ease of checking in, the property was very warm, cosy and very clean. The home was beautifully appointed with all the modern appliances and furniture.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. We felt at home
