Great location. Simple place with very nice rooms. Really good shared bathroom. I highly recommend it for stays in the centre of Cuenca.

Very laid-back environment, which I like. Also, an excellent choice of cafes, restaurants, bakeries, markets and food shops in the neighborhood; also museums and cultural spots.
Some of the other guests were loud and boorish.

The excellent price is the main reason to stay there. I also liked the location, the warm shower and good wifi.
I didn't like that there were not enough lockers for everyone in the dorm, only few electric outlets, the shower smelled a bit like moisture, there was no shower head, no toilet brush and no more free laundry in contrast to what others reported previously ($1 per kg is still a good price).
