Handy location on highway through town. Breakfast adequate. Yogurt good. Good coffee.
Didn't get a disabled room with safe shower.

The room was clean, modern, and updated rather than feeling old or tired. The hotel felt safe and provided a comfortable, hassle-free stay.
The shower control knob was broken and felt like it had a stripped screw, so it couldn't be adjusted properly. As a result, the water came out scalding hot, making it unsafe to have a proper shower. When I reported this to the front desk the next day, the receptionist claimed the handle needed to be pulled outward to work. Having used that style of fixture before, I knew that wasn't the case here, and she seemed unconcerned about resolving the issue. Leaving a shower running at scalding temperature without temperature control is a serious safety hazard.

The motel is very convenient for traveling to the Midwest from our home and we like the restaurant across the street. It is clean and comfortable and we enjoy it.
