The location was very quiet and surrounded by nature and animals with friendly hosts their dogs,a cat and some naughty ponies that wandered beyond their paddock for snacks. There were lots of places to sit outside and relax, they had a bar and provided food which you could book the night before but if not there were several places to eat in Cazals and in the other direction a bar by the lake. Breakfast was lovely with home made jams and pastries and bread, yoghurt, muesli etc. The building we stayed in was rustic with homely touches with a shower and sink in our bedroom for 3 with a bathroom with a bath and toilets downstairs along with a seating area and kitchen facilities all very nice. Pool area was good and welcome after a long hot drive . They also have a few glamping tents dotted around
The weather was very warm and the upstairs was too hot so we slept downstairs on the sofa's, it needs a solar powered air-conditioning unit as this type of weather is not uncommon and would make a more pleasant stay. Also a toilet upstairs would of been good as the steps down are a bit steep when you need to go in the middle of the night! for these reasons I wouldn't visit again
