A very comfortable and well-appointed room in a former convent that is being lovingly restored. Ecclectic decor, mixing modern and something like Second Empire— made it unique. Kitchen had all the necessities. Very quiet. Bed and bedding were comfy. It was such a relief to have air conditioning. 10 minutes walk to train station. Right in the center of this historic town, just a few minutes to walk to cathedral, Les Halles ( Narbonne has a fantastic market!), Roman sites. Hosts were excited to help and share information about the building’s history. You can climb the bell tower for a terrific 360 view. It’s wonderful that they are restoring this part of the town.
