The property sits in the middle of a large well looked after garden and wooded area. There is a lounge area for the guests to use on the ground floor. On the first floor there is the billiard room with a kitchenette and dining area for the two letting rooms to use. Unfortunately, the host Elodie did not appear to be in a very good mood as we arrived half an hour late at the end of a 5 hour journey. Rather got the impression that she didn't really want us there!
The description of the family room was misleading. Although the accomodation consisted of 3 rooms plus a loo and bathroom (which were good), 2 of the rooms were locked, meaning that the room described as 269 sqft ended up as a small bedroom of about 100 sqft. The double bed was comfortable although it was only 4'6" wide which is a little small these days. No sign of the listed BBQ and terrace....
The breakfast was rather disapointing - just baguette and 2 pain au chocolat with some pineapple. The coffee jug managed just one and a half cups each.
