Fin de semana en La Paz

Muy bonito, con TV en sala y en las recámaras. La cocineta muy completa. La sala muy cómoda. Me quedé en la habitación 1, las camas muy cómodas. Mis familiares se quedaron en la 4. Realmente muy bonitas No es la primera vez que me quedo ahí.

Well appointed comfortable modern condos in great location, but not a bargain.

This property is a furnished condo in a safe location on a hill overlooking La Paz Bay. There are many properties for rent up in the neighborhood and I have stayed in a few others so can compare Also, I had a long term stay (5 weeks) for work, and have a car, which is essential as there is a long hill to the Malecon. This condo complex has many different units and they have different furnishing and views. I stayed in 2 different ones here. That said: 1) The complex is safe, quiet, 24 hour security, with 2 good pools for lap swimming and a great gym which I used. 2) The units I stayed in were well appointed, had new appliances, well stocked kitchen utensils and spotlessly cleaned. I appreciated especially the washer/dryer unit I stayed in Unit 9. 3) The walls are thick and I was not bothered by noise from other units. 4) I chose to move to Unit 9 as it was on the top floor, on a corner, with a view --through 1 window--of the Bay. Unfortunately the master bedroom and living room picture windows look out onto the parking lot, so I usually left those blinds closed. Many of the units had no view at all and only windows that looked out onto public areas or parking lot. 5) Maintenance man is on site and responded quickly to any issues. 6) Great wifi. 9) New AC units every room.

1) The rental units are managed by a property management company, you don't deal with the owners. This made it very difficult to modify the reservations. When I tried to add days, it took over a week to resolve. Working with booking.com is very difficult, just kept getting repeat bot messages. 2) Big sticker shock: the room rates quoted are not the final price. Between the taxes and "fees" my bill came to almost $1000USD more than what was the room alone. This was too expensive for what one got and higher than other comparable units in that neighborhood. 3) The bathroom floor is slick as ice when wet. This is a common problem in many rental units in La Paz--but this marble flooring was really bad. No shower mats or rugs provided. Finally I had to use a towel in the shower floor. It is super dangerous and slippery, 4) The parking is secure, but tight, you can only head in and then have to back out. Only the gatekeeper can open the electric gates, so you sometimes have to wait for them to see you and open. 5) Only 1 cart for getting luggage and groceries up to the units, had to wait for it to become available.

Nice property but lacking bedding - not acceptable.

The pools were lovely

We booked a suite with pull out and no bedding was supplied we had to strip our beds to make sure everyone had bedding called several times but was told there were no sheets or blankets for the pull out ... called the next moring and spoke with the host and were were supplied bedding.

Long weekend in La Paz

Modern, clean and spacious apartment. 2 swimming pools - one heated to 30C, one not heated. (no jacuzzi - jacuzzi space filled with pool water) Staff is amazingly efficient. Excellent security.

Need a car - no restaurants or even convenience stores within easy walking distance. Also, they require that you wear an unremovable fluorescent orange bracelet during your entire vacation (including outside of the hotel)

Modern clean fully equipped condos with ocean views

Spotlessly clean. Secure parking. Fully stocked kitchenware. Washer/dryer in unit. Comfortable, quiet. Modern, uncluttered . Good location. Good condo complex, well kept.

This condo building has many rentals, and they are different. I was in unit 16. The main issue is that the large view windows of all the units on this corridor look out onto a public patio space, so people are walking past your bedroom/living room. You have to keep the shades closed for privacy. Also, the stone floors in the shower and bathroom are like ice when wet, you have to be very careful not to slip. Overall it is a really well kept condo complex and I opted to stay there longer, but in a different unit that didn't have the privacy issue.

pleasant

the 2bedroom condo was very functional. we stayed 4 nights /5days in La Paz playing golf and snorkeling. the location was a bit far from the town but since we had a car, it was a problem only problem was the shower. the water pressure was so low and the shower head needs to be clean- full of calcium deposit that no water comes out. other than that, the stay was very pleasant 👍

Good place to visit La Paz and enjoy great views

Very nice apartment in a good location 5 min from the malecon (boardwalk). From there the view of La Paz is amazing. Easy parking too in a gated area, nice pools, good WiFi and good kitchen available in the apartment.

The main down point is that we arrived pretty late and in the apartment there was no complimentary water. Not a big deal if there was a vending machine or a little shop but the building does not have any and driving back to the city to the first grocery (if open) is not that convenient. Also the gym needs a little bit of maintenance on the machines.

Left early due to injury. Stay in hotel if you do not speak Spanish.

Elevator, close to town, close to beach.

This location is fine if you are fluent in the language. I did find one beautiful angel that helped me after I had a horrible fall at the pool there, due to uneven surfaces that sent me to an ER. Trying to navigate without knowing Spanish was quite an ordeal.

Bad, no hospitality

The aparment is in good condition

No hospitality from the personal, i requested days before to make the check in 2 hours earlier. I am 7 months pregnant and they keep waiting like 3 hours for the check in down the sun at mid Day. Intil i got so angry they gave me the apartment. Another thing, in the apartment they dont offer Water or Coffee... Bad service

Wonderful apartment in La Pax

Everything was wonderful, the apartment was comfortable and clean, check in was easy. We loved the 24h security as well as the pool. The kitchen had everything we needed, an all around wonderful stay. Would love to return some day!
