I booked and paid the full price through Booking. Com, but the staff messaged that the room was not available, so I booked another hotel. After already booking another hotel, they called and said they had a room for me. I told them I already paid for the other hotel. Booking.com refunded the money. This review was based on my stay there during my second visit to Camariñas, 4 days later.

The room and ensuite were very pretty with a seaside theme. I would have rated higher but for 2 things. I am convinced the sheets and pillowcases on the bed had not been changed. My first impression was that the Owner didn’t like to iron the sheets then I turned the pillow over and it was ironed on the other side. Although I accept this May have been a genuine oversight I slept really badly thinking I was in an unknown persons linen. My second problem was the deluge of messages , some quite lengthy. I am English and, despite my request, all messages were in Spanish and I have been travelling for sometime, it’s not always possible to translate and certainly not convenient. It seemed the Owner wanted us to download an app to use for entry, in the end she gave me a number to enter into the keypad which opened the door. Why this couldn’t have been messaged in the first place beats me. Keep things easy and worry free.
