We had a brilliant stay! Our friends were getting married nearby, so we decided to stay for 3 nights to make a long weekend out of it. The property is well located for events at Walled Garden Baumber which is just 10 minutes away by car.
If you’re attending an event there and planning to have a few drinks, I would strongly recommend pre-booking your transport, as it’s otherwise almost impossible to get a taxi or Uber on demand.
The Coach House has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is really well equipped and the welcome tray was very thoughtful. The livingroom is cosy and relaxing, with a smart TV and loads of board games. The double bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with a great high-pressure shower. The garden area is also stunning with plenty of seating and has outdoor games too. There was also an additional twin room upstairs, however we didn't use this as there was only the two of us staying, but this would be perfect if bringing children.
We were 10-15 minute drive from Horncastle, Woodhall Spa and Wragby if we needed any shops or amenities. There is also a small pub (Sebastopol Inn) just a 10-minute walk away who were very friendly and had a good selection of drinks.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay, Lisa (the host) was so friendly, welcoming and on hand if we had any questions, and we would definitely recommend The Coach House! Thank you for a fantastic weekend :)
If we really had to be picky, we would have loved to have had a small freezer compartment in the fridge. However, this was only a minor preference and didn’t detract from our stay at all!

Comfortable coach house with separate entrance and generous hosts. Enjoyed use of beautiful garden. Great shower and comfortable beds and seating area. We were able to self cater 2 nights in kitchen. Thanks for welcome gifts, very enjoyable and kind. Pleasant country location, we enjoyed a visit to Louth.
To be aware there are no nearby amenities. Village pub no longer serves food and is not open all week so we could not visit.
