Good location and excellent staff.
Nice breakfast.
We’d asked for a quiet room back in November 2025 when we booked, and that had been agreed. When we arrived at 3pm we were told that it was a Fair in Tavira and there would be loud music and noise until the early hours of the morning! Obviously at this time we didn’t have any other option but to stay. Our room was upgraded and was lovely. However the unimaginable noise went on until 2am and heavy trucks were coming down the street outside our window by 6.30am. So we managed 4 hours sleep maximum, having booked 10 months earlier and asked for a quiet room! If the hotel had contacted us at anytime before we actually arrived we could have arranged alternative accommodation outside of Tavira.

Our first morning we went for breakfast as it seemed all the reviews were saying how great it was.
To be honest there was a fair amount of choice
The hot choices were not the freshest or most appetising. The Scrambled Eggs were over cooked and turned Grey. My partner did really enjoy the mushrooms with cherry tomatoes.
Although there wasn’t any jam or marmalade to
Enjoy with the toast, I was content with the pastry

Overall I would say that the breakfast was adequate. Although we did find ourselves having breakfast elsewhere.
After our first night, we were moved to a lower floor,
This was well received as I am recovering from a stroke and I think the staff realised that the stairs were not the easiest for me to climb, so we were moved to another room on a lower level. Which I was very grateful for. Thank you 😊😎
