Felt very homely, we have stayed at some different cabins 4 times now and will continue to rebook- fresh bread and eggs every time - great amenities- always spotless - love the animals onsite too!

The apartment in the cabin we stayed in was really nice and very comfortable. Check in and out was smooth using a lockbox. We really liked the covered balcony where we sat out in the evening and had a drink even in the rain. The kitchen has everything you could need. The decor and detail throughout the cabin is so nice, a lot of effort and work has gone into this and the outdoor hot tub area. The fresh bread and eggs were a lovely touch.
We were travelling with our baby and while there is a play area for kids, this is a working farm with moving vehicles and animals (and animal poo) on the grounds so I'm not sure if I would recommend it for families with young children. We also found the 11am check out quite early for self catering accommodation, as cooking and cleaning up, packing up, washing dishes, emptying bins etc with young children and being out by 11 is quite tough. Our morning would have been more relaxed if we'd had another hour or so.

Place was gorgeous and was super clean and well presented.
Didn't meet any staff but petted the goats and the great danes lol
The bed had a big bit of wood along the bottom, and myself being 6'8, I just didn't fit length wise, between this and the 2am wakeup from a lorry unloading horses and then 2 men proceeded to bang the trailer and make noise for an hour, , or the 4 men sitting outside talking about IRA men in prison, was not only uncomfortable but this was unexpected.
This all together really put us off and we left after 1 night of a 2 night stay.
Would try again though :)
