Lovely chateaux with a beautiful pool, surrounded by vineyards.
Nice that you could hire bikes and ride around the vineyards and local countryside.
The suite we had was lovely. Nice size , good bathroom and huge bathtub.
Some of the staff were really helpful. One young man in particular was absolutely fantastic. He worked in the bar - and nothing was too much trouble.
Rooms were well cleaned and maintained too.
The wine tasting was nice too.
Food options could have been better…
On Sunday there was no food options for lunch or dinner at the hotel. And even breakfast they had run out of eggs and bacon before service had finished.
Also on Sunday no one was cleaning the tables in the restaurant / bar area. Tables were left for 5-6 hours with empty plates and glasses not being removed.
The experience on Sunday was much different to our other days.
Also some unexpected charges I wasn’t made aware of. I asked if the hotel could help with a cake for my dad’s birthday. And they said no, I asked if I could bring one myself and serve at dinner. To which they said of yes and they could help with candles etc. At dinner just before they served the cake.. they informed me of a €10 cover charge per head for the cake - which was €80!! I felt this was a little underhand as I want able to say no to that charge just as the cake was being shared for my dads birthday meal and no one has informed me of this cost previously.

Wonderful quiet area, beautiful scenery, good food and nice staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Pool is very nice!
No gym facilities, which would have been nice. Taxis are also very expensive so you need to factor that into any travel plans. It is quite remote and the rates are very high.

Great staff, great food, lovely wines
If you advertise the rooms have A/C, then have A/C available and don’t turn it off. I would happily pay extra for full 24/7 A/C, rather than have to have the fight with the poor staff to turn it on when the daytime temps are over 35 deg C

Beautiful château surrounded by vineyards. Recently renovated, with excellent taste in the décor.
Pool was cold (verified with a thermometer submerged in the water at 18°C/64°F) rather than the 28°C/82°F stated in the room directory. The bathroom was spacious but not very functional: no radiator to dry swimsuits and towels, and no shelves. The restaurant was closed both nights of our stay — unacceptable.
