Two very comfortable bedrooms both with smart ensuite bathrooms. The rooms had been beautifully prepared for the hot weather with light bedding and fans provided. We enjoyed the little patio seating area outside where we ate our breakfast and evening meals. Planted with pretty flowers and shady. The location was nice and quiet.
While it was fine for our short two day stay the limited living room (part of one of the bedrooms) and kitchen facilities meant we may not choose this property for a longer stay.

Schön ausgebauter Barn neben dem Cottage mit eigener kleiner Terrasse. Nette Gastgeberin, die bei der Ankunft anwesend war und uns die wichtigsten Dinge erklärt hat. Zu Begrüßung gab es einen kleinen Korb mit Snacks und einer Flasche Prosecco. Der Barn hat zwei getrennte Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem zugeordneten modern ausgestattetem Bad. Die Betten waren groß und bequem. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig, da man von der abseitigen Straße nicht viel mitbekommt. Die kleine Küche ist gut ausgestattet, wenngleich wir sie nicht zum Kochen genutzt haben. Insgesamt ein schöner Ort, um zu entspannen und Kent und Sussex zu erkunden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Beautiful cottage in a quiet location yet within short distances of nearby towns and attractions. Great for National Trust properties and Hever Castle.
Generous bedrooms with lovely ensuites. Warm and cosy. Lovely garden and great hosts. Super clean, too.
Description is somewhat misleading. Accommodation is ground floor only. The entrance hall doubles up as the kitchen. Two-ring stovetop cooker is ok for occasional cooking (no oven though).
Biggest disappointment is the so-called "dining area" - this is nothing but a small table and two chairs in the corner of one of the bedrooms. Ok if you use it for sleeping only or if you only occupy one of the rooms, but nowhere to seat more than two people comfortably.

The keys were in the door
The kitchen was very small with just a sink and a mobile hob, crockery and cutlery were provided.
It was clear our black Labrador was not welcome, the owners shouted out every time we let him into the garden. Elvis is friendly but does bark at strangers to protect me as I was once attacked. We were never given an opportunity to explain and if they’d just come over to us we would have introduced Elvis and there would have been no more barking. He sensed their fear of him.
The whole place is very small, there’s only seating for two in the main bedroom so if my mother had joined us we wouldn’t have been able to seat her at the table. It was also extremely hot, in high temperatures the place is unbearable with only one small fan for each room. The bathroom was lovely if you like a wet room, are ok with no windows in the bathroom and can put up with the constant smell of drains in the bathroom.
