I loved the room and the location. Gallo Pinto the cat was so sweet! Loved his chatting. Susanne was great, really nice and had wonderful recommendations.
It can be very windy here, and the doors on my room rattled all night during a significant wind event. I stuck a piece of cardboard into the doorjamb to stop it. The windows are not double glazed, so the noise can be loud.

The property was lovely, perfectly located to explore Monteverde. It had a great shared kitchen and social area perfect to unwind after a long day.

The location is a nice spot out of the city (would not recommend without a car) and there was plentiful parking. Everything you need really, with breakfast and nice staff. Noting there is only a fan, no A/C in the room, but with the evening wind and windows this wasn't needed. There is also a shared kitchen, should you plan your meals in that way!
The hotel is off the main street, and also on the hillside, so there was quite a bit of noise from the wind (especially if you are on the second floor with the roof). We had to move downstairs the second night and it was much better!

Liked that it was not right in town. Comfortable beds. Walking path. Shared full kitchen.
Felt like a hostel. Could hear EVERYTHING happening in adjoining rooms.
