It was very comfortable and the hosts thought of everything we could need.
The security camera on the terrace. It felt a bit obtrusive.
Getting down into the parking was challenging the first time until we figured out the best approach down the steep hill.

The property was a lovely small house with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom and a very large outdoor patio with very pretty views. It was very comfortable inside and out, providing us with everything we needed for a week long stay.
The host was very welcoming and very easy to contact. As soon as we contacted her about the lack of hot water, a technician was sent out and the issue was immediately corrected.
Entry to the property was through a coded entry given to us by the host shortly before we arrived. It was very convenient and we enjoyed the fenced and secure parking spot attached to the house.
Kournas is a small village a few kilometres off the New National Highway and up the side of a mountain which is what allows such beautiful views and access to walking paths through the olive groves and countryside. The people in the village are very friendly. Mostly we made meals in our accommodation, but we also ate at a couple of tavernas in town.
It is important to have a vehicle if you would like to explore further from Kournas. The drive through Kournas is a little steep and tight but, after the first time, we had no trouble navigating it even on Sunday afternoon when everyone parks in town to enjoy the afternoon meal at the tavernas.
I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for an authentic and comfortable place away from the tourist crowds.
