Modern condo in new development far away from town and beaches

New modern appartment with extremely helpful and friendly caretaker Liz and her staff

Beautiful room, amazing view, peaceful and relaxing, close to everything!

The Black Palm is an exceptional property. The room was so well appointed and designed. Liz was AMAZING! She was so helpful, checking on us when we arrived from the airport and were delayed in traffic, and also when we traveled to other nearby islands, to make sure we were okay. She shared tons of local recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. The view from the room was so beautiful and great to watch the sunset each night. The area is safe and had a security gate to enter. There is a lively restaurant and beach nearby. The area of Indigo Bay is very peaceful and quiet amidst the hustle and bustle of Saint Martin. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel and how beautiful the room was!

The bed was very firm and a bit uncomfortable. But the view you wake up to more than makes up for it.

Excelente opción para familias pequeñas

El lugar es precioso, la vista, la playa al lado con el restaurante. La piscina, todo limpio perfectamente equipado y el lugar muy tranquilo. Liz y las chicas que ahí trabajan son extremadamente amables. Excelente comunicación desde el principio y Liz hizo todo lo posible para que nuestra estadía fuera perfecta. Sin Liz no sería lo mismo.

La distribución del departamento es muy extraña. La habitación de abajo tiene un baño sin puerta. La habitación de arriba es abierta por el techo entonces se escucha todo de la cocina y salita y vice versa. Además al lado de la cama tiene una tina… y el wc afuera con puerta con un mini mini lavamanos. Las 2 camas son de 2 plazas (no King). Es un departamento para pocas personas si se quiere estar cómodo o para familias con mucha confianza. Es muy extraño. Tuvimos varios problemas con el wc y la ducha pero Liz hizo todo lo posible por solucionarlo. La actitud y forma de enfrentar problemas (que siempre ocurren en cualquier parte) fue tan positiva, que se perdona. Con niños, es difícil ir caminando a la playa que si bien es cerca, cargados no es tan fácil. Y si o si hay que arrendar auto.

An absolute fabulous location, host, and house.

Sanctum of peace and quiet, with exceptional views. The host is the best host we've ever had, and we travel a lot. She is always there to help with everything and so pleasant to deal with. Fabulous location, fabulous host.

We didn't like to leave, we could have stayed a few more weeks.

Beautiful location, walk to a gorgeous beach. Property is apartment not a hotel. Need a car.

The location was great as long as you have a car, it’s easy to get everywhere. The beach within walking distance and the restaurant there were amazing; we would have gone more except the restaurant closes early on Sunday and is closed on Mondays. The property was beautiful with an infinity pool and the apartment had everything we needed, with the exception of a couple of things listed below.

This is not a hotel. I was surprised that the person checking us in called me multiple times when we were on route which was confusing since I thought we were checking in after 3pm to a front desk. We got calls again before check out. She was very nice and offered a late check out but putting some sort of notification to expect this would be helpful and to find out how people prefer to be communicating when on vacation would also be helpful. There were some little things that could have made the stay more comfortable - they were minor but worth mentioning when you’re staying in such an idyllic location and paying a decent amount. The outside door lock to our apartment was broken so the door didn’t shut or lock (the inside one did) this would have been an easy fix. One of the umbrellas by the pool was broken. No beach towels are provided. We had to request extra towels which as mentioned by another guest we were called about upon vacating the apartment asking us where they were. This is all feedback for the host to improve the stay of the next guests. None of it would deter me from staying again now that I know what to expect.

Loved it!

Awesome location next to Indigo Bay, which has a quite peaceful beach and great restaurant. Great views. Good air conditioning. Great common pool and lounging area.

The beds are quite firm, so be aware of that

THE LOCATION WAS MARVLOUS. IT WAS VERY CLEAN. LIZ WAS VERY HELPFULL AND FRIENDLY. WE WOULD RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO STAY AT THE BLACK PALM.

Great stay!

Great location and beautiful property. What a view and very quiet and safe. Easy to reach the beach with a 5-10 min walk—be sure to eat at the restaurant there. Liz is the property manager who went out of her way to make us comfortable. Definitely will return.

Amazing experience and recommend it to everyone!

The Location was beautiful! Right on the beach and in a quiet location but close enough to get to the attractions in St Maarten. It was great waking up to that view on a daily basis. I would definitely stay here again.
