The room was lovely, with a great view. The spa facilities were good and it was nice to have a gym.
The half board food was massively lacking, half the menu wasn’t available and all that was left was chicken, pork with potatoes or polenta and cabbage. We were expecting a wider array of opinions for dinner. More than one night on this menu was challenging as there was no variety. The same can be said for breakfast which again was limited. The staff said this was due to it being off season but we didn’t feel this was a reason, if you expect guests you should be able to cater for them. For this reason I felt the hotel was not good value for money.
