Great location in centre of Gütersloh. Hotel was very comfortable with good facilities. Lots of good restaurants, cafes, shops nearby.
Full ashtray left on our balcony, and burn holes in net curtain. We did report this to the owners. Our son and his 2 young children had the room next to us. Having put bath towels on drying rack on his balcony, he found 2 cigarette ends on top of the towels when he returned to his room, clearly thrown from a neighbouring balcony.

That I didn’t have any keys and that I couldn’t lock my door from the inside. I also didn’t like the long numbers to tip into the door to get in and the smokers under my apartment.

Excellent location in downtown Gütersloh. Easy access to building/room with electronic keys. The kitchen is great. The Rolladen and are great, and the little balcony is nice.
The shower is not clean, with mold and mildew built up over time. We wished for shower shoes. The bed had a long, dark hair on it when we arrived, and there was a dirty cleaning rag left on the nightstand. One of the curtains is dirty and damaged.
Also, the TV didn't turn on despite being plugged in and the batteries in the remote, and the light on the remote working. It just seemed they weren't paired correctly.
