Excellent location in the heart of Whitby. Light and spacious apartment with both a separate shower room and an en-suite. Good WiFi.
The lighting in the kitchen/dining area is poor with a large clumsy shade overhanging the dining table which I constantly banged my head on and gave out minimal illumination. Periodically there is a smell of drains from somewhere in the building that can be quite powerful but which I’m sure can be sorted. I was wakened during the night by a window fitting collapsing that I suspect had been damaged by a previous tenant but left unrepaired.

Absolutely brilliant location. Nice apartment for a couple. Good value for money. Good communication from the host.
Despite the forewarning from the host about noise from Seagulls and the pub next door, we did not experience any disruption.
Had all the facilities that we required during our stay; kettle, iron, hairdryer, WiFi, television. Although, not used, we thought the inclusion of a perking permit was a great idea!
We would definitely stay again!
As warned by the host, the staircase leading up to the apartments is not ideal for people with limited mobility. 'Spiral' staircase, with no real bannister to speak of in some parts.
The accommodation was presented well, though, as noted in other customer reviews, perhaps not to the highest standards of cleanliness.

It was a lovely little apartment just perfect for the two of us and our 2 dogs. It was in the centre so perfect to go exploring. Although it was central, the noise wasn’t an issue at all. We were able to park literally one minute walk away in a W zone as passes were left so that was handy. Bed was super comfy and had everything we needed. Fridge was good size and kitchen was clean.
Little bathroom goodies were available and some sachets of tea/coffee/sugar/milk which was a nice little touch.

No prior knowledge given as to there being 40 stairs to climb to get to apartment despite twice being asked prior to stay as to disabled access
