The location was lovely out in the country, but only 1 mile from local village. There were so many nice villages to get to from the cottages.
It was very quiet 🤫 and restful. The farm was beside it, but that wasn't a problem.
Only issue was it only had a bath with a tap shower. Difficult to get in and out off if you are older or disabled. This didnt spoil our holiday.

We loved the location in the hills and in a farming setting.
We knew it would be in a working farm but we did think there were a lot of flies that perhaps could be easily sorted. The courtyard could have been fenced off to give a little privacy.

It had all that, you would need plus more that I hadn’t thought of
I loved the location and how quiet it was plus views onto Openfields

Everything you could need in a well equipped kitchen. Beautiful surroundings. Comfortable beds and absolutely spotlessly clean. Friendly contact with owner. Great humour in welcome pack which told you plainly all you needed to know.
Only slight thought would be a shower curtain or screen on the bath so that you didn't wet the floor because as carefully as we were we always managed to get some on the floor and we were concerned it would eventually spoil the beautiful bathroom. Not a huge inconvenience for us but it might keep it as lovely?
