Convenient location, particularly for dog owners. The leisure centre playing field is very close by and ideal for walking the dog.
Around a 15-minute walk into the city centre, which was really convenient.
The area was quiet enough at night to sleep comfortably with the windows open.
Well-lit surroundings made walking at night feel relatively comfortable.
The bathroom/shower facilities were a nice bonus. The speaker, heater and night-light mirror were particularly useful touches.
There were a few things that could be improved. The outside area underneath the steps is quite unappealing aesthetically when first arriving at the property. Although it doesn't appear to be in use, it could benefit from being tidied up, as the rubble and dark, enclosed area make it look neglected and potentially unsafe. The door in this area also couldn't be properly closed or secured, which could present a safety concern, particularly for anyone travelling with pets or children.
The dishes and cutlery also needed to be washed thoroughly before use, as some had visible food residue, including particles of food and smears of butter.
I also noticed black mould in the shower area and around the window frames. This would be worth addressing, both from a general cleanliness perspective and because airborne mould can be particularly problematic for guests with sensitivities.
Overall, the location was very convenient and there were some thoughtful facilities, but addressing the cleanliness and outdoor safety issues would make the property feel considerably more welcoming and comfortable.

We really enjoyed the small balcony with greenery. Sat outside for tea & glass of wine. Great to have an outside seating area. Nice view from lounge window.
The microwave was in corner & too high to use safely. We were both 5ft. Cooker was available but would have used microwave if could it had been placed on counter top as room available

Location really good. It was about a 10/15
Min walk to the Oban Inn.
We were lucky with parking as managed to get a spot on the road outside and there is a small area of grass about 30m from the property (next to the coach carpark) if you need to take your dog to the toilet.
Sofa is a bit uncomfy to sit on, we found it more comfortable to take the back cushions off.

Great location, very comfortable large bed, nice and warm house.
Cot didn't work and wouldn't have fit in the room if assembled (would fit but didn't leave any room for moving so was a fire hazard), wasn't the cleanest (fridge, floors specifically wasn't clean but skirtings ect were dusty .. needs a deep clean). Coal and logs buckets in the house were empty which surprised us, for the money that is charged for this place you'd expect it
