The breakfast was very good and the staff were outstanding. Very friendly and helpful when we needed information.
The airconditioner in the room kept dripping water in a pretty heavy stream into our room. We had to pull the bed away from the wall and use a towel to mop up the water puddle.

The hotel is expensive but well located to the historical area, markets, restaurants & harbour. The room was small but clean & like many have said a tv would be terrific.
The breakfast. In a country with copious orange trees the juice wasn’t fresh. The markets are full of different fruits but the “fresh fruit salad” was mostly chopped apple. The hotel may benefit from a buffet style breakfast.
I know the cats are highly thought of but I have to change tables one morning as the smell of cat poo from the garden was overwhelming.

Lovely location and traditional building. Breakfast was nice although second day they forgot to bring us most of it so ended up without. Family room was adequate and room was cleaned daily.
So many cats which I don’t mind but they were on tables and chairs meant for diners and the entrance had an overwhelming odour of cat pee and poo. Family room bunk bed was like an ancient metal hospital bed and the bathroom was tiny with a shower that soaked the whole room and smelt of drains. Not somewhere you would want to spend a lot of time in the room but ok for just showering and sleeping. The wall at the pillow end of the double bed had a very sharp stone corner of window ledge jutting out and also a metal hook to tie curtain right where the pillow goes so my partner bashed and cut his head on these both multiple times.
