für unsere Fahrradtour um den Möhnesee super gelegenes Hotel

super Lage - Blick auf den Möhnesee - das reichhaltige Frühstück war sehr schmackhaft - alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend - das Zimmer war für unseren Kurzurlaub/Fahrradtour ok - Bad sehr klein - Restaurant mit einer sehr leckeren Speisekarte und einem wunderschönen Ausblick auf den See - Ladestation für E-Bike war vorhanden

Zimmer könnten mal modernisiert werden..... wie bereits gesagt...für einen Kurzurlaub zum Schlafen ausreichend

A great few days at Mohnesee

No tea coffee making facilities in the room, no air conditioning.

Excellent hotel in a lovely location

Stayed here with our children on the way through Germany, great setting by the lake, lovely and clean modern house that accommodated us all with our dog, guaranteed parking, staff was very friendly and welcoming, we enjoyed the dinner and breakfast, very well presented food, good variety. We wished we had more time to explore the area and would definitely stay here again.

There was nothing to complain about.

Brilliant location to see and visit Mohnesee; I'd stay again.

Booked due to location and looked the best in the area. We were not disappointed. Well laid out and comfortable bungalow (for 3), comfortable beds, quiet, good parking for motorcycles (right outside), good communications, good value food, breakfast, friendly staff and online booking system.

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the bungalow (there was a fridge) though to be fair, there isn't really anywhere for a kettle/cups to be stored and I didn't ask. This was a minor irritation on the Wednesday we arrived as the hotel is shut Tue/Wed and is quite remote. We couldn't control the heating and relied on the portable heater supplied to keep the bungalow warm and assist in drying wet clothes.

Lovely spot to stay

The staff went above and beyond what they needed to do, by waiting for us well beyond their going home time and guiding me to the hotel when the bridge we needed to go across was closed

Wonderful view and excellent service.

Excellent location for visiting the dam and great view across the lake. The room was a little bare -- could do with some pictures on the walls. Bathroom was huge -- even had an armchair! Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Dinner served outside was excellent with very varied menu and breakfast good. No problem with parking as long as your handbrake is good!

Lovely lake and a lovely hotel.

A room with a view across the lake - beautiful. We arrived late due to traffic and had missed dinner but the staff were accomodating and allowed us to dine in despite the kitchen being closed. This was much appreciated and our waitress was helpful and attentive. Room was fine. My youngest daughter loved sleeping in a fire truck bed!

Excellent well run hotel with fabulous views.

Great setting and marvellous views, Food was excellent and the beer nice and cold after a long day riding. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and I thoroughly recommend the Hotel .

Great for short or long stay

Food was excellent and reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Views from balcony and restaurant were amazing.

Room was warm but it was very hot outside (hottest day this century!) so very understandable

Very good

The location is spectacular. The food was delicious and the views from the dining room out over the Möhnesee were wonderful.

The room was at the rear, so unfortunately had no view. It was a bit poky, however we were told apologetically as we were shown in that the room is due for refurbishment soon. It needs it, as, for example, the bathroom floor tiles were loose. The website pictures give an impression of a more rustic and traditionally wooden construction than is actually the case.

Great location not too far off the motorway.

We paid extra for a lake view with balcony which was worth the money. Both breakfast and dinner were of a good standard and the staff were very helpful compensating for my basic understanding of the language. The view was very good with the additional bonus of a number of Herons nesting in adjacent trees ready to take their first flights. All in all, an enjoyable experience.

This visit was part of a roadtrip which had involved stopping at three other hotels and an overnight ferry. The quality of sleep was excellent in all with the exception of this hotel unfortunately. I couldn't work out whether it was the bed or pillow or both but both my wife and I had a poor quality sleep.

A nice place but probably rather more interesting during the season

A very nice location overlooking the lake and probably a very different proposition during the season. Minor point the restaurant was closed, which was not clear when I booked, but the staff recommended an excellent one on the other side of the lake!

Worth it!

Great place to be with a family. Tasty food, separate apartment, small drawbacks like not working outside light or lack of mat outside - that can happen, especially during pandemic. We've stayed for 1 night, but we had a great walk on the lakeside. In general - it's relaly worth visiting!

Outside lightning, and a mat outside would prevent carrying lot of water into apartment.

Disappointing

The room size was fine, though entry into the bathroom is not easy it's so small.

The whole place was closed on the day I arrived so it wasn't possible to get a drink or an evening meal. This isn't mentioned on the booking.com website. The WiFi on the upper floors also didn't work for me - apparently, they've just changed providers. An underwhelming experience.

Wish I could have stayed longer, beautiful view over the reservoir, lovely staff and excellent food.

It was an overnight stop - but lovely! Very accommodating even towards my dog, bowl and treats in the room. I arrived later than planned and the restaurant was closed but they still provided me with a meal.

Lovely lakeside property for our one night stay

Lovely location directly facing the Möhnesee. We had booked a Junior Suite with balcony and lake view. Got the room pictured on booking. Huge and very comfortable. Lots of space and an enormous balcony. Outside blinds to roll down for darkness. Nice bathroom with room to put things. Dinner was very good in the restaurant (too cool to eat outside but there is a lovely outdoor area with cooperative weather). Bikes safely stored in a locked area. Very nice staff. Would happily stay here again.

Nothing. Little hard to get here by bike...we came up and over through the Arnsberger Wald. Very steep driveway!
