Perfect escape in the mountains.

Very clean and neat. Beautiful place, great views.

Since its a village the roads are narrow. But very interesting.

Exceptional

Quiet place with a great mountain view! Cozy and aesthetically pleasing cabins with all the necessary basic features present, cute and friendly dogs, very hospitable and VERY helpful hosts - really kind and cool guys, thanks a lot and all the best to them! 🙏

There's only one minibus to/from Utsera early in the morning, not a big deal though, just ask hosts for details beforehand and plan your trip carefully

Nice vacation for escaping the busy city!

Getting there was surprisingly easy since we took a minibus from Tbilisi to Oni (the next larger "city") and were picked up by the host. His cousin helps him out and they carried our bags to the cabin and showed us everything. The location is amazing. Cabin 3 has the best view on the mountains. The host also invited us to dinner and drinks which was really nice! The properties dog is really cute and a very kind angel. Also the other dogs of Utsera a very open and friendly towards outsiders - be prepared to have a personal guide when walking around. Cooking is very easy and the cooking field is self-explanatory - but only very simple things like pasta and sauce or grilled cheese etc. can be cooked here. But you don't want to waste your stay with cooking fancy meals. Sit outside with the comfortable chairs and enjoy your surroundings. Overall we were pleased with out stay. For European standards the stay was a 8 out of 10. From a georgian point of view definitely a 9.5 out of 10.

The door is a bit tricky to lock and takes some practice but that wasn't really a problem :-D A struggle we had was that the bathroom was freezing and we weren't really able to heat it up. We would recommend to install a heater there as well. Furthermore, the floor was also really cold so guests should be advised to bring warm socks or slippers. Additional carpets especially in front of the couch would be really good. We accidentally unpluged the fridge when we tried to plug in the mobile cooking field which resulted in spoiled milk because we didn't notice. It would probably be good to install another socket for the fridge underneath the working space. The warm water tank is only big enough for one shower (incl. washing hair) and takes quite long to fill up.
