We stayed in the gite - a fabulous, historic turret which was quirky and spacious. The hosts were incredibly diligent; keen to welcome us with wine and any kitchen items that we required for our evening meal. The outdoor space is stunning and the pool is gorgeous...we had it to ourselves, which was an added bonus! There were no rules about the pool or the gite, which was refreshing, and added to the relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend.
A few more cooking items would be good (peeler, grater, salt...) but the hosts were happy to supply them when asked, so wasn't really an issue.

An incredibly warm welcome . A stunning property in beautiful grounds . Fantastic table d’hotes and very interesting history of the place told us by our hosts

beautiful from the outside, lovely swimming pool, welcoming hosts
dated inside, no forewarning that restaurant had to be booked ‘well in advance’, no help with finding somewhere that would be open for us and our kids to eat on a Sunday eve, not very comfy beds
