The ability to arrive at 2 pm, is excellent. Secure Private parking, in shade, was a huge bonus. The welcome on arrival was appreciated. A cup of tea after a long hot drive, and a chat, took away all stress from long journey within minutes. The ‘room’ was actually, a suite of rooms. Very large bedroom, sitting room; large bathroom with good shower, wee anti room with table and chairs and good coffee tea making facilities. Breakfast next morning was served in a beautiful private dining room one floor down. The house is bespoke in that it has been a chateau and the rooms, stairwell, furnishings and original features are an absolute joy. It was a privilege to visit and stay in such a lovely bespoke establishment. Breakfast was delicious, very fresh baguette along with personally chosen (the day before) jam; cheese; hams etc. Good youghourt, fruit juice and fresh fruit were also on offer. All served early to allow us to continue our journey. Cannot fault this chambre d’hote. So different, and an excellent choice for us, being so close to A20.

Our hosts were so welcoming and made is feel so at home. It was just a stopover to break the motorway journey so we arrived late and they took us to the local pizza machine which my 13 year old loved. Beautiful, huge bedroom and bathroom with facility to make tea/coffee and lovely breakfast before we left early
Sat nav didn't take us right to the gates but they sent us instructions and came out to find us

Lovely heritage charm. Wonderful hosts, so helpful and welcoming, who provided us with a plentiful breakfast and even some to take with us on our journey back to the UK.

Both breakfast and location were good. The hosts were very friendly and amenable. Cup of tea/ coffee on arrival, nothing was too much trouble.
I think Booking.com got the description wrong! There was no on-suite or private bathroom. The bathroom was across the corridor and shared with other guests. Fortunately for us, no one else was staying there but we still had to walk across the corridor to clean our teeth, shower, etc. Not good! There was no private terrace as mentioned in your details and private parking was limited to 1 car. Not the hosts fault but the description was inaccurate.
