Small room with big comfortable bed. Modern, clean bathroom. Good location.
The check in is handled by another hotel 200 metres down the street, which I wasn’t aware of. Breakfast is also served at that hotel.
There are mosquitos around as evidenced by a few squashed ones on the wall, but there is a liquid repellant supplied in the room that you should plug in when you arrive.

Bfast could have a little more variety. Staff were lovely. Close to train station and a beautiful authentic village. Close to restaurants and local Pub. Supermarket close close by and markets on Saturday.
Limited bus services on weekend but easy to get to Pienza & Monticello by Bus weekdays.

Very nice room. The albergo dealt with the luggage transfer company Bags-Free without a problem.
This is NOT a proper hotel, it is an unmanned annex of Hotel Ghibellino 450 meters away! You'll have to first walk up to the Albergo Roma, read the notice on the door, then walk to the Ghibellino to check in and get your keys. Then back to Albergo Roma, and in the morning you'll have to hike back to the Ghibellino to have your breakfast and check out. They neither said so on Booking.com, nor did they warn us (or indeed answer at all) when we messaged the albergo about our arrival time.
