We had such a lovely stay at Salt and would definitely come back. The location is beautiful, literally right on the beach in the middle of Amed. We loved sitting by the pool watching the fishing boats come and go and watching local life go by!
The staff were super lovely and always happy to help. Our room was clean and comfortable, the food was great and breakfast by the sea was delicious.
We came with our 2 kids - 3 and 5 years old and it was super convenient having the restaurant, spa and kids club all on site.
Amed is a real working seaside village, so you do hear boats, local life and some music around the area, but for us that was part of the charm and exactly why we came to Bali rather than staying in a big isolated resort!
During our stay we went snorkelling, visited lahangan sweet, went kayaking and spent lots of time in the pool! They also arranged a local tour to the water temples around 20 min drive away which was great fun!
We will definitely be back!

We had such a lovely stay at Salt. It’s a small, relaxed hotel right on the beach and has a really warm, personal feel to it. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome.
The location is beautiful — we loved being able to wake up by the sea, have breakfast overlooking the water and walk straight out into Amed. The pool area is lovely for relaxing and the whole place has a very laid-back Bali feel without trying too hard.
Our room was comfortable and clean, the food was really good and we also loved having the spa right there. It’s especially nice that everything feels quite personal rather than like a big resort.
Amed itself is a real Balinese village, so you do hear normal village life around you from time to time, but for us that was part of the charm and experience of staying here.
Would definitely stay again. One of those places that feels very easy to settle into and you don’t really want to leave.

We loved Salt it had such a relaxing vibe to it. Staff were amazing! Loved the layout of the rooms to the pool. We had an early start to go to a temple so they organised a packed takeaway breakfast the night before. Would definately return if we came back to Bali
We only had one problem our bathroom had a terrible drain smell. We reported it and staff tried the best they could to help fix it.

The bathroom was moldy
The white bed linen was old & turned yellow
The pillows were lumpy
The walls were dirty & moldy
The budget rooms were the worst - but like everywhere in Bali - white paint needs to be refreshed after the wet season & the whole resort looks like this hasn’t been done in a few years…
