Reception staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious and cozy, the Ayurvedic breakfast was great.
My judgement is coloured by having previously visited Rishikesh on several occasions. Now it is very busy, very polluted and the roads and pathway are busy and noisy. Our room was right next to a small river running into the Ganges - it was full of plastic and the smell was at time unbearable, and there were two construction sites right In front of the room, which was rather noisy. Therefore coming to rishikesh for peace and quiet, we very disappointed and sad and left 5 days early.

The morning yoga sessions were great. We also had some great massage treatments. Staff were very helpful.
It was hard to get hot water early in the morning and later at night.

It has a lovely tradition style with wide cool balconies, treatments and yoga Shaka with good morning classes.
The hotel was more of a clinic with lots of guests booked for weeks of Ayurvedic treatment’s. Although this would have been fine it wasn’t really advertised as such on booking.com. Our biggest concern was that the floors and windows just didn’t seem clean. We had to ask for our room to be moped as it was dusty and bits in the corners when we arrived. But the staff did not argue and re cleaned the room that day, which was good. The stairs to the breakfast area had the same leaves and dirt for our 3 days stay. They were not cleaned.Unfortunately the hotel is next to a deep ravine with a river which is used by locals as a rubbish dumping ground so the smell is sometimes strong.
The breakfast had a good offering of fruit, cooked and cereals however the shared tables were never laid out and the staff were not attentive. You had to go to the kitchen to ask for tea and it arrived in just a cup with no saucer.
With a little more effort on the cleaning and waiting staff this hotel could be a real gem of a place to stay as it’s location is very central and the rooms large.
