The location is fairly remote which was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a place where I could sit outside in the evenings to enjoy a meal and experience the tranquility but also a short drive or cycle to the village and various restaurants and bars.
It is an old building and fairly rustic so it just means this place is not spotless. While it is very well catered for with regard to kitchen and dining with plenty of equipment and facilities, this also means cleaning between stays would be difficult to get to a very high standard given the number of items that would need to be checked and cleaned. It is still as clean as a friends place would be if you went to stay with them. The only other thing is the lack of air-conditioning which is something you have to work around in summer by closing the house during the day and only opening up when the cooler night air arrives.

Beautifull house on a very nice location near San Quirico dʼOrcia. Stayed there with four other pelgrims and had good nightnof sleep. Host was friendly and easy to contact!
