Excellent dining at the Balmoral . wide choice for breakfast. Evening meal was superb ,wide choice , excellent vegetarian choice. . our room was small but cosy , perfectly adequate for a few days stay . Larger rooms were available but the cosy room suited us .

Love the communal areas and the staff. Food is amazing too. We love the location too, close to the sea for a stroll after breakfast and close to the main town as well. We did not move the car all weekend which is fab.
Our room was very cramped and small and faced the car park. The bathroom was also very dated and there is not enough space around the bed to get in and out if you have mobility problems.

Close to the beach and friendly staff.
Nice garden with plenty of seating to be able to relax and chill out.
We only ate in the hotel one night, but the food was tasty and well presented.
Most residents were elderly and retired to their rooms early, meaning the evenings were too quiet.

Great location, friendly staff.
Cosy double means single room. We struggled to get around the bed, the shower was from the 1970’s and the mattress was beyond firm. The noise from anyone putting a tap in or flushing a loo was quite unbearable. Suggestion would be to have less rooms at a premium rate. Partition walls don’t work in a hotel.
