A pleasant place to stay and definitely don't miss the breakfast.

Was a little difficult finding the hotel, but that was Google Maps fault. The place was wonderful for a night or two stay. Breakfast was amazing. Fan and AC in the room so the room was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpul. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Other than hard to find, nothing else to day.

Good

Charming staff. Quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. The room was spacious, with AC and a ceiling fan. Full, solid breakfast. About 15 min easy walk to the city centre for those without a car. Good stay, overall.

Occasional trouble with insects crawling over me in the night (ants particularly). Would appreciate more information on the surroundings (could be pamphlets, even a simple piece of paper with a list of transportation options, sites and other basic useful info)

Enjoyable and comfortable.

Breakfast was good. I enjoyed staying there, and liked the people there. This is not a luxury hotel with a pool, a bar and a restaurant, but that's not what I wanted. I wanted to be in a place where I would be around Costa Ricans, and get a chance to get used to the country and to speaking Spanish again. It was great for that.

It was awfully hot for a guy from Alaska, but I'm not sure the hotel could do much about that. (I didn't use the air conditioning because I wanted to get used to the local climate).

This is a very nice quiet location, particularly for access to the airport. Pleasant, family owned.

Nice place...

The location is perfect. Walking around town was great. Kind staff, hot water and amazing Air Conditioning. The breakfast was served Hot.

I had to keep asking for more coffee because I continued to drink lots of their amazing coffee.

Good shower pressure. Good TV. Has wi-fi.

Part of breakfast (pinto y gallo) was leftovers, not all was fresh. Outdoor kitchen. Rented room was dim. Ants in room. Box spring dirty, was concerned but I found no bugs. Bed was not comfortable. See-through curtains. Was very nervous staying here. No chain for door, no safe available. Also, did not feel very welcoming overall.

Needs extra care....

The breakfast was ok...no choice. There was no fruit which is unusual for CR. The bed was ok ....

The rooms were ok clean but falling apart...bare minimum. The bed had limited bedding.....there was a small desk but no chairs. The bathroom could of been cleaner...only one towel ...

Nice place, quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, but no wifi

Very pleasant place to stay, nice quiet atmosphere, friendly staff. I couldn't find a taxi so they sent someone to pick me up from the bus station!

Great welcome and hosts, very tasty breakfast and good location.

We were very well received by our hosts : we didn't have time to have a breakfast in the morning so they prepared it and 5 min after that we enjoyed a very tasty breakfast! They are very helpful, the owner offered us to drive us to the center because we needed to buy something. We felt like we were part of the family, they are really good people. The room was clean and comfortable.

Overall, it was a great place to spend the night for my flight the next day!

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. They were very helpful in getting me to the airport at 4 AM! The kindness of the owners would make want to stay again.

There were some tiny fire ants on floor, and a few got on my bed.

Good traditional breakfast. Friendly owners and staff. Quiet location away from traffic noise and jake-brake truckers.
